A Life Imprisoned at Home: Walls Close In
The boundaries of my home were always like a refuge. Now they constrict, a constant symbol of my restricted life. Days bleed together, marked only by the click of the watch and the heavy weight in my chest. Every sound from outside is a cruel reminder of the world beyond.
I stumble through these confined rooms, searching for some glimpse of hope. The rays that once danced across my floor now seem cold, and the silence is deafening.

Surviving on Lockdown
Life as we understand it has drastically altered. The world beyond our doors is a blur of its former self. We are now trapped within the boundaries of our homes, forced to home arrest adjust to a new normal. The days melt, marked by the pattern of online meetings, streaming media, and eating. We long for the simple joys that were once taken for granted: a walk in the park, a coffee with friends, or even just a talk without a screen separating us.
This new world has forced challenges, but it has also unveiled unexpected capacities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more patient, more creative, and more thankful for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this uncharted territory, we must keep hopeful that brighter days are coming.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face boundaries that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so close, yet it's separated by just six feet.
Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels overwhelming. You long freedom with every fiber of your being. Each new day serves as a stark reality that you're imprisoned.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a flicker of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be liberated. That day might seem uncertain, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure with freedom can be an enticing force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to restriction. This manifests when the very notion of freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a tool for control and oppression.
Genuine freedom demands not only the absence of external constraints but also the cultivation of internal spirit. When this inner foundation is lacking, even within a society that preaches freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the boundaries of their own thoughts.
Ultimately, the true measure with freedom lies in our ability to break free the constraints that impede our potential, both externally and internally.
